 Northumbria University w Newcastle poszukuję obecnie Chińczyków i Polaków, którzy wzięliby udział w badaniach dotyczących różnic, jakie te mają te nacje przy przyswajaniu nowego języka obcego. Badanie polega na wykonaniu sześciu krótkich zadań (proszę zobaczyć poniżej) i będą trwały około 2 godzin.
W zamian za poświęcony czas otrzymają Państwo voucher na zakupy wart £15. Będziecie mieli także wkład w naukowe badania, dotyczące tego, jak ludzie uczą się języków.
Szczegóły poniżej (w języku angielskim). Wymaga jest taka umiejętność angielskiego, aby samodzielnie odczytać i zrozumieć pytania z naszych badań.
What will I have to do if I agree to take part?You will be given three language tasks: “sentences and pictures” (where you will be asked to choose the picture that goes with a particular sentence), “familiar phrases” (where you will be given sets of phrases and asked to choose the one that is most familiar to you), and a multiple choice vocabulary test. In addition, you will be asked to complete a spatial reasoning task, an author questionnaire (where you will be asked to identify familiar authors), a language learning task (where you have to try to work out how to say simple phrases in a foreign language), and a short questionnaire about yourself. Each task takes about 15 minutes; the entire testing session lasts about two hours (with short breaks between tasks). You will be given a £15 love2shop voucher (redeemable at thousands of retail outlets) as compensation for your time. Your participation in the study is entirely voluntary and you can withdraw at any time if you don’t want to continue and all the data collected will be anonymised.
